A question for the wiring pros out there. I bought some Kuryakyn silver bullet LED blinkers for front & back for my 2008 1100 custom. Have the load equalizers for both the front & back & a plug & play brake controller for the rears to use them as brake lights. However when I called Kuryakyn for something, they also said I need a diode kit. I'm familiar with wiring myself & also asked 3 others. A friend who's a car mechanic, a friend who's an electrician & the mechanic at my Yamaha dealer who I trust with anything on my ride & all 3 said they have no idea why I would need a diode kit. All 3 said the load equalizer should cover it as I thought. I have a hard time trying to figure it out (since LEDs are already diodes) why I would need to go through the pain in the ass process of splicing & soldering on a diode kit. Can anyone give me a good reason why I would need a diode kit? Or is Kuryakyn trying to nickel & dime me for another $7?
