  • Good luck...maybe an adjustment will cure. I have 26K on original clutch on my 2004 1100....no issues.

  • Thanks I jus got it back in the winter hope its not mayjor

  • Have you changed oil/filter? If not, you might do so with a good motorcyle specific oil. Many good ones....I use Mobil 20/50 V Twin Syn. No friciton modifers obviously that some car motor oil has. Bad juju for motorcycle clutches

  • i just had the clutch replaced on my oh 7 1100 and am having a little bit of slippage when I romp on it... do the OEM clutchs just suck ball? can I just replace the springs with stronger ones?

  • Mine has never slipped. If someone did the clutch work for you Tony, you might consider taking it back for adjustment. New one should not slip

  • Tks Bruce Sharer I use lucas 20 50 for prefrom bikes

  • Thanks for the link

  • yeah, that's what I figure...have next two days off...gonna pop in for a couple trim bolts that rattled loose.

  • That whole website has been my bible for my 1100 for almost 4 years of ownership Cary. And if you haven't already, download the service manual for free. Consulted it many times. I am not mechanic but I have been to do a lot of maintenance and mods on my trusty 1100
