  • Shine a light through the rad, alot of guys think theirs are clean but not even close

  • Blow your radiator out with compressed air... You will be surprised how much dirt is in it

  • I bought a shower head for my hose and I put it right up to the fins, squeaky clean and no bent fins

  • OK I'll try out these few things thanks guys

  • My top end failed around 30hrs. Replaced EVERYTHING.

they started by just replacing the water pump, but the head gasket failed to.

  • Do u they will say something about the size tires I have if I take it back to Yamaha they are 29.5s I do have the manufacturer warranty still?

  • It's a hit or miss thing. Some dealers will say warranty won't cover it due to oversized tires. However, I took mine in on 29.5's ,snorkeled and lifted and warranty covered it.

  • OK Kool thanks man now I just need to take it in and hope for the best

  • All those sound serious. Rad can "look" clean but still have a whole bunch of crap in it that you can't see. Spray it good with a can of the cleaning bubbles or oven cleaner then rinse well.

  • Ya I did I even took it all the way off and let it even set over night and still after a few min on lithe light comes on
