Hey guys. I need some advice here. I went out for a nice ride this morning. And when i got home i just parked the bike on the driveway turned it off and went inside. (As you normally do when going inside) then when i wanted to go out again. The bike just wont start.. the battery isnt dead. All the fuses are fine it just doesnt want to start. The ignition works but it seems like the bike doesn't receive any petrol. The tank is full with 50 km on it.

  • My mates Yamaha mt125 (same engine) won't start some time for a few mins then will next time take it off the stand and try it the kick stand safety feature can sometime stop it from starting

  • I have a habbit of turning my bike off with the kill switch. So i basically flipped the switch and it started. But i flipped it earlier today and it didnt work so i really dont know

  • Yer I have the same habit and I leave mine in gear so then I think something's up

  • I know exactly what the problem is,...it's the fuel pump. Did it prime when you turned the ignition on?

  • Turn the kill switch off , turn your bike on , turn the accelerator half way keep it held there , flick the kill switch on then start it up , it should kick in

  • Yea that should work if not turn your bike on and go close to your fuel tank you should hear a buzzing sound of your fuel pump priming, if that's not happening something is stopping it from priming and that could be your problem
