  • I like the idea and have looked long and hard at the Neotec, C3 and the Evoline. Unfortunately I'm just not prepared to compromise on safety, plus you cant use them on track days. They are typically noisier than a proper full-face lid, and on the Tracer I think noise levels would be very apparent.

  • Neotec only got 4 stars in the Sharp test.

  • This is the caberg duke , been using a caberg for 12 years now ,flip lid , only got this cos can't get proper visor , only Bob heath replacement which is a shocking fit so treated myself , No compromise on safety at all , noise level No problem , could have paid a few quid more for the graphite and yellow one but didn't want to wait till next week , Im an easy shopper , I'll have that one , done ....

  • Just realised the photo didn't post , doh ....

  • I don't understand how the Caberg Duke scores 5 and the Shoei Neotec scores 4 when the Shoei tests revealed that the chin bar stays down during an impact more than the Caberg does? There must be some area that the Neotec seriously lacks.

  • Would expect the chin guard to move a bit , Im more interested in the two areas at front and top of head , caberg scored very highly in both , caberg are top helmets but ain't cool , don't have big sponsor money to pay out , i trust my little noggin to them .....

  • If they score well in the safety tests then they're a sound bet. That's all that matters.

  • The shoei scored poorly above the ears and temple areas but excellent everywhere else , and is near 3 times the money of the caberg ....

  • I have had this SHOEI in the loft for ten years so it owes me nothing.
