Quick Q: while running my 242 LS on the hose, no water came out of the pilot holes on the side, only out of the jet pumps and intake grates. Is this normal?

  • Mine only shoots out water when I run above 6k rpm.. stick weed Wacker string in there to make sure it's not clogged

  • Normal, not enough hose pressure from the hose at your house.

  • Stick a weed eater line through them see if there's any dirt clogged in there

  • Same thing with me. Need more water pressure. No big deal

  • I get full flow out of both engines at idle on hose 2015 Ar240.

  • It's a water pressure of the house issue. Excess water will run out the jet pump, but you want to make sure hot water is coming out a hole in the top right above the jet nozzle and also mixed with the exhaust out the exhaust port as well.

  • Thanks everyone. I do have low water pressure and that is probably the cause.

  • My 212x always has a good stream of water coming out with a hose.

  • I have the same problem, but don't run it to long or the over heating alarm will sound.
