I started out at 5 years old on a mini bike that my Dad built from a kit from Russell Karts in Kansas City, Mo. My first real motorcycle was a 1972 Yamaha Mini-Enduro. I've favored Yamahas ever since.
Started on my honda mt50, still have it today and still riding it every week
1977, at 13 my 1st ride was on a Gemini Boss 80, then got mischievous and daring on a Honda Minitrail 50cc. Both belonged to a younger cousin. I had my share of bumps, bruises and gravel rash, often witnessed by a not-so-daring close friend who laughed his ass off every time o.O =D
How funny it is, to read all the comments of the beginning our expirience motrcycle-riding. Indeed, all of us have sureley a special story. I learned to start a bike with a XT 500 and today i have only to push the button :)
