GT80 or HT1? Speedo (new old stock NOT restored) and LARGE Mikuni Carb — Vintage Yamaha Enduro Fans

When I went out to the farm I found these parts that I thought I could live without... If anyone is interested let me know. The Speedo is a GT80 or HT1, and its brand new (not restored). I got it in a box of parts several years ago. Unfortunately I did not get the original box... It got wet and the man I got the parts from THREW THE BOX AWAY... :( The carb I have NO idea what its from. Its HUGE!!! 38mm smaller opening and aprox 57-58mm larger opening. One of the pix shows the only #'s I could see on it. Its from a BIG 2 stroke I would say but I dont know for sure. I do know its Yamaha...

1976 DT400(95% complete, in pieces) — Vintage Yamaha Enduro Fans

    $300 Plus shipping

1976 DT400, number matching motor/frame. I bought as you see it and have done nothing with it. To my knowledge, it seems to be all there minus the carb and blinkers. Motor is 100% completely and kicks over without and issue, feels like it may have compression if you oil the cylinder. Gas tank and seat pan are there but badly rusted. I see no cracks and nothing chopped off frame to my knowledge. Front fender cracked. Almost brand new rear tire and front tire is new with sticker. Will help ship but not splitting it up, all or nothing. $300 firm.

Had to take my friend Bobby Roller to Hospital yesterday. last couple months I have been trying to get him to doctors office for hyper tension, i have a blood pressure machine to take mine, which has been very good since i have been eating healthier and exercising regularly, average 120/75, my friend Bobs has been all over the place between 140/95 to 190/120 BAD! well, hes not the type to go until on his death bed, 2 days ago I thought something was a little off even though he was doing fine on a couple jobs I had in my shop for him to do, his speech was not quite right? yesterday when he showed up for work, i could barely understand him and he could not say a lot of words in a sentence, I threw him in the car for the hospital, YES he had a stroke, he did not lose muscle control, or eyes were fine just his speech and then he did tell me he has had a bad head ache for past couple days. just keep this in mind, you can get a machine for blood pressure for like 25.00 and it's a real good investment for us older folks, because you never know, that's why it's called the silent killer. please send a prayer his way, bobby has worked in the motorcycle industry since he was 10 yrs old, his dad owned a Kawasaki dealership and he told me about doing his first crank replacement on a F8 when he was only 10! pretty much the best bike mechanic i have ever known, and really knows how to make them run. he needs to get better soon, he hasn't finished the porting his doing on my DT250 were getting ready for flattrack bike

I have this AT1 for sale. I have a clear title and it runs great. Has been converted to High Perf with 175 top end, Aftermarket exh, etc. It needs a new battery but I can get one no issues. IF someone would prefer it original I can put it back to all original 125cc, I keep the aftermarket parts and would sell for $1200. CLEAR TITLE in MY NAME and I have it currently licenced. Took it for a quick ride today, had set all winter and started on 4th kick! Reasonable offers considered.

I had a customer, ask to come pick up a complete dissaembled Yamaha DT175 1975, to restore for him, well it was not a Yamaha DT175, it was a 1975 Honda MR175, very clean except for all the dust on it from sitting in a garage for looks like 20+years, was a runner when they took apart. I told him how much it was going to cost so he just traded it for a air compressor I had and some work on his ATV. I have to many projects and a yamaha 1972 dt250 i just started on, so if anyone ls looking for a nice bike for a project restore i have one, it is very nice seat does not have a rip, everything looks really good, selling as a barn find with original dust still on it, it i clean all up I will want more for it, i am sure. lol 400

installed new fork seals and crank seals, ready to go for summer right....no. come out to the garage to find a puddle of injection oil on the floor from the cover. cant tell where its leaking from though it seems not to be the hoses. where can a guy get a rebuild kit/gasket set for the injection pump? or is there a common failure on these that someone can inform me on? 1971 dt1E 250cc

1979 YAMAHA MX 175 A Real survivor, COMPLETELY ORIGINAL. — Vintage Yamaha Enduro Fans

Completely original MX 175 a real survivor, runs great. Needs a cosmetic make over but it would be a great start for a restoration, or just enjoy it as is a great trailbike, great for beginners, or a cool vintage pit bike. Only thing missing is front number plate. Tank has been lined in the past, has a new petcock, rear brakes are a little crusty, but I have new pads to go with it. Interesting trades considered. Atv, scooters mx motorcycles, street bikes , what you got? All cash offers considered. Bill of sale only.

This is my Yamaha helmet from 1973. I recently restored it. Does anyone know who made these helmets for Yamaha. I need to find a face shield for it to make it complete. The last picture is me on my 1973 Yamaha DT3 250 early spring of 1974, and my girlfriend, now my wife of 39 years. I was 16, she was 14. The yellow full face helmet that I have on is a original Yamaha helmet with the black and white stripes.

These little ODDBALL bikes were sold generally for a VERY short time and the companies were simply "gone". Many of these bikes are scarce as HELL and you NEVER see them anymore. I love pix and info on finds of these old bikes, paper, etc. Any of you guys (or gals for that matter) that are interested in looking at some bikes that are "out of the ordinary" are more than welcome to come and join my page. I just posted pix of this original Sales Brochure for a company called Chaparral. They primarily sold Snow Mobiles but delved into Motorcycles for a while.... I welcome any of you who are interested on my pages. Bike names you will see are Kami, Chaparral, Gemini, Steen, Muskin, and many many more. Hope you will come and check out my page and enjoy!!! Hello guys,

I'm Ramses from Spain and this is my first post.

i'm restoring a 1974 Yamaha sc500 starting collecting parts 2 years ago. Now I'm trying to get a con rod but it's imposible at the right price. For me more than 200 bucks for only the rod is crazy because then you have to add shipping, import charges and all the rods and pins with his extra shipping costs.

My question is if someone try to fixed other con rod on it? I found similar rods but never same or close size.

                                        Thanks!

It has no spark, I replaced the plug wire and connector, points look ok but I would have to remove the magneto to be sure, it has compression, the key is broken off in the switch so you have to use a screwdriver to turn it on. The on/off switch is wire tied to the frame. Just looking for some ideas on where to proceed appreciate any help. Thanks

Hey, all. I need to sell this very nice, all-original '77 DT250D. Just over 3400 miles. Clear Ohio title in my name. Bike was stored in some guy's dining room. Appears to have never been ridden off road. Fires right up and runs excellent. Top end tight. Not a smoker - lower end seals are good. Forks not pitted, monoshock not blown out. Lights, controls, instruments, all work fine. Plastic faded, but in real nice shape. Seat not ripped or torn up. I put a new battery in it, and replaced the busted throttle cable with a correct (split) new one. Oil injection works fine. Pipe not dented or rusted out. Just some surface rust. What's it need? Tires, and chain & sprockets - they're original! Also, rear turn signal stalks are busted - from tip-overs. The signals themselves are fine. All this bike really needs is to be ridden. Gotta turn it into cash. $1200.

Bike was missing a lot of the OEM gear so have built it up with mildly custom styling using parts I mostly already had, I know some OEM restorers won't appreciate that but hey it's my bike, OEM parts are hard and expensive to find here in Australia, so I'm building it how I like it to ride it

I have a 1974 dt360 with what appears to be either a gyt or torque industries pipe. However after finally getting the bike running it is literally the loudest bike in Australia.

I'm going to make a temporary bracket so I can use the PFR off my 1978 yz250 to do some heat cycles on the new motor to break it in.

I'm looking to get a custom silencer made by Geoff Morris concepts in Australia but was wondering if there were other solutions people have used on the big DTs with success .

I've looked at the turbine core 2 from FMF but it just looks massive.

Another option that intrigues me is the super trapp with 2 stroke core, but I've never seen much info on them being used on 2 strokes. The reason I find this intriguing as I can use the discs to tune the pipe and make it a bit less free flowing if needed and while I can get jets locally im concerned that with other free flowing options I might not be able to find a suitable needle and needle jet in Australia to tune the mid range as I was unable to buy stock replacements here through Mikuni when I rebuilt the carb and had to order from the states (not that that's a bad thing just takes a couple of weeks)

The rear frame is handmade along with the air box, inner and rear fender, and side panels. This is a matching numbers frame and motor. Motor is locked up. I was at a weekly man cave sale in an actual cave and I spied an aluminum MX400 tank! Turns out he bought out of the building with a bunch of parts in it and doesn't have much left. MX 400 tank has a large dent on right side. $50. He wants $100 each on the plastic tanks but he doesn't know what they go to. He said make an offer on the side covers. And he thinks the 100 pipe is for Kawasaki KE. Any interest in any of it?

I ran into an interesting situation while splitting a 1979 dt 250 engine case. The transmission locks up when it get hot. Usually they pull apart with not a great deal of effort, but this one just wouldn't budge. A little hint, a front wheel drive hub puller does a great job if anyone else runs into this problem. Now can anyone tell why the transmission is locking up?
