Selling off my Yamaha's and parts. Blue one is a ytm 200 chain the yellow is a ytm 200 ern. Blue one runs and rides, but has a bad left tire that causes it to shake. The tire looks to have a high spot on it. The yellow one has a new top end and the motor is just sitting in the frame. It still needs to be assembled. I cleaned up and sanded the plastics on the yellow back fenders. I have a extra frame, but the diff seems to be locked up and a bunch of extra parts. 2 other motors for parts etc. $800 Williamstown Pa

After looking at this page I think I did something really wrong. I sold my 85' 225 Dr running and complete. With a spare block and transmission that were still good, plastics for another 225 ( mine was blue the spare plastics were yellow) front forks, a brand new mono shock, newer tires on the machine, and a box of other misc. Parts for 300. I think I ripped myself off.

Bought what was advertised as a Timberwolf 250 for $400 and want to use the drivetrain/swing arm in my black 225DX for a swap and a rest mod like the Tri Z shown, and also curious about swapping in a different fork/front wheel and tire. Are the triple trees the same on YTM's and Tri Z's? They look close. Also want to go with Tri Z lights.

Issue is the Timberwolf 250 turns out to be a Bear Tracker 250- will it still work on the swap?

Been a member for a while now but havent posted any pics of my trike — Yamaha YTM Three Wheeler Forum

Been a member for a while now, but havent posted any pics of my trike.

My Tri-Moto 125cc. Paid $60 for it and all it needed was a recoil rope and a tune up. It came with all brand new tires and the engine, trans and frame all looked new like it was barely rode and stored inside. I converted it to dx225 front suspension that was given to me by a good friend (this is an easy conversion that can be done in under an hour and requires no machining if you locate the correct parts). And yes, the forks are inverted intentionally. Installed 65 watt 12v headlight/spotlight to be rid of the dim and hard to find 6v bulbs. No extra wiring or modifications to the electronics, just tap into the headlight wiring and run it. I drilled a hole in the top of the spotlight housing and installed the low oil warning light there. Also converted it to a twist grip throttle and cleaned up the plastics. Turned out pretty good and has been a great trike so far.

I am in need of a YTM225 headlight shroud. Blue is first choice then black — Yamaha YTM Three Wheeler Forum

I am in need of a YTM225 headlight shroud. Blue is first choice, then black. I only need the plastic. This is for my beater, which was originally yellow and someone painted blue! So naturally it's ugly, but I need a solid headlight shroud. Gonna do the LED upgrade, and I need something to attach to. The original is all busted up and held together with zip ties. Des Moines, IA.

well people, My son and I took the trikes out on Christmas Eve for some mud rippin.. the Yamaha 200 shaft did great as always, until the timing tension adjuster fell out.. moror locked up..my son pulled it apart yesterday and we have a huge issue.. thought the valves hit the piston.. figured that.. but this is what we found.. yes that is a valve broke and fused or jammed in the piston!
